Ransai Dam about an hour's drive from my place. a lovely place to laze around and excellent place for bird watching. We, Jacob, Julius, Sagar, Rama, Neena, Jayshree, Dr. Tarin, set out at 7 am. The sun was just rising and from the Belapur bridge it was a great sight and lovely star.
On the way, sharp eyes of Sagar spotted purple sunbirds and a shikra. The purple sunbird was on a lovely flowering plant and provided us an opportunity for some good colourful pictures.
